1st Recipe Wizard Page
On the first Recipe Wizard page you begin to create a condition. At this step you simply select one field to filter on. For example, if you wanted to catch mail in which the From: header contains email@example.com you would select From: then hit the Next button (you would enter firstname.lastname@example.org on the next wizard page). You also have the option of inverting the condition.
You will have the option of creating additional conditions on the next wizard page. Each time you choose to add another condition, this page will be displayed. You can add as many conditions as desired.
The RW4M help file contains examples that illustrate the following types of recipes:
- Creating a simple recipe
- Creating a recipe with multiple conditions, all of which must match (ANDing conditions). For example, if the To: header doesn't contain your address and the message body contains the phrase make money fast the recipe will match.
- Creating a recipe with multiple conditions, only one of which must match (ORing conditions). For example, if the From: header contains email@example.com or if the message body contains the phrase Make money fast the recipe will match.
- Creating a recipe with compound conditions (ANDing and ORing conditions in the same recipe). For example, if (A or B) AND (C or D) are true, the recipe will match (where A, B, C, and D are conditions you specify).
- Performing multiple actions with one recipe. For example, forwarding a message to your work address and saving a copy in your inbox.
